Prayer Projects

1. The ministry of preaching and teaching Christ’s Gospel can be as unpredictable as the weather (assuming you’re not a meteorologist). From week to week, it is nearly impossible to tell how people that you have previously taught will respond to the truths you have to tell them. All Moved In!

Happy New Year to everyone! We began 2012 by feverishly preparing for our move to Kampong Cham. On the 2nd of January we packed our belongings on trucks and headed for Kampong Cham. The process went surprisingly well, thank the Lord. We had the help of about 15 other people to move things. It was a great and tiring time. We are settled now, finding our way around the city. Since we have been here we have been told that there is a substantial presence of both Mormons and Jehovah’s [false] Witnesses. There are some other non-denominational/ecumenical churches around also. Thank you for your prayer concerning our move.

Prior to our departure from Phnom Penh I had the opportunity to finish my Bible study with “ming” that I asked you to pray about in my last email. She readily accepted the truths of the Gospel. However, she doesn’t yet seem to fully understand her true need for Christ. So, having introduced her to Bro. Chad Phillips, who lives close by and who will continue to work with her, I left it with the Lord to complete His work in her heart. I have no doubt He has worked in her heart and life. Please continue to pray for her.

We appreciate your continued prayers in the adjustments of moving and in the starting of a new work here. We wish you God’s richest blessings.
